ASSOCIATION FOR MARTIFER'S WORKERS

 

MOVE

 

MOVE Association aims to promote initiatives directed and driven by Martifer’s workers.

MOVE has a list of well defined goals in the scope of activities for workers and their families as well as concerning Social Responsibility.

It aims to respond to the needs of its workers and affiliated companies, promoting social and cultural initiatives.

MOVE Association works in four different areas:

i) Culture and Leisure
ii) Social Responsibility and Environment
iii) Heath and Care
iv) Sports and Adventure
Culture and leisure
DIA EM FAMÍLIA

Cultural and leisure events bring to Martifer workers and their family members the opportunity to enjoy cultural visits, workshops and shows. In 2011, photography and culinary workshops took place, tour guides to the factories and also two family trips:one to see a theater and more recently, a visit to Port Wine Cellars and a cruise Douro river.
Social and environmental responsibility
Responsabilidade Social

The support for charity, education and culture institutions, as well as the internal intervention approach promoted by MOVE in the field of social and environmental responsibility of the Group, have joined workers on several solidarity and sustainability causes.
Heath and Care

Ginástica Laboral

Partnerships with external companies allow us to offer activities directed to the well being in and out of the workplace.

This year, MOVE began with internal actions for awarness raising on the importance of phisical and mental well being.

GYM
The headquarters, in Oliveira de Frades, has Move Martifer Gym available for the use of workers and their families. The gym offers several services, such as group classes in hours after work.

Sports and adventure
Desporto e Aventura

This is one of the fields that most attracts organizers and participants. The football tournament and mountain biking rides are constant in MOVE's annual plans.
